Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Relay LLC (“we,” “us”), the operator of Basic Baby Tracker (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility and authority to agree

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Basic Baby Tracker is intended for parents and caregivers; children are not intended to create or operate accounts. You may use the service only if you can form a legally binding agreement with us, and you agree to these terms on your own behalf and, where you invite others, on behalf of your household.

2. The service

Basic Baby Tracker is an app for iPhone, Android, and the web for recording feedings, sleep, diaper changes, and notes for a child, and for sharing that record with the caregivers you invite to your household. You can track more than one child.

3. Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for the activity in your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for the caregivers you invite to a household and for what they can see and do within it.

4. Information you enter

You are responsible for the information you enter (a child's details, feeding, sleep, and diaper entries, and notes) and for having the right to enter it, including any information about other people you add to a household.

5. Your ownership of your information

As between you and Relay LLC, you own the information you enter into Basic Baby Tracker. These terms do not transfer ownership of your information to us.

6. Permission you give us to operate the service

You grant Relay LLC a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, sync, and display the information you enter, solely to provide and operate the service for you and the caregivers you share it with. We do not use your entered information for unrelated purposes. This permission lasts only as long as needed to provide the service and is otherwise governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Our intellectual property

Basic Baby Tracker, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Relay LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not give you any right to our name, logo, or software except to use the service as intended.

8. Acceptable use

Please use Basic Baby Tracker only for its intended purpose. You agree not to: access data belonging to households you have not been invited to; disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service; attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service except as permitted by law; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Payments

Basic Baby Tracker is a one-time purchase: $9.99 for lifetime access for your first child and $4.99 for each additional child. Prices are in U.S. dollars. There is no subscription and no recurring fee. Applicable taxes may be collected where required. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge.

10. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase by contacting support@basicbabytracker.com. We will process eligible refunds through Stripe.

11. Free trial

Basic Baby Tracker starts with a 7-day free trial, and no card is required to begin. After the trial, continued access to a child's tracking requires the one-time purchase described above.

12. “Lifetime access”

“Lifetime access” means ongoing access to that child's tracking for as long as Basic Baby Tracker is offered. We do not promise that Basic Baby Tracker will operate indefinitely.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, unauthorized attempts to access data, disruption of the service, or other material violations of these terms. We will not arbitrarily revoke access that you have legitimately purchased. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Changes to or discontinuation of the service

We may add, change, or discontinue features or the service. Discontinuing the service does not automatically create a refund obligation.

15. Not medical advice

Basic Baby Tracker is a record-keeping tool for your own tracking. It does not provide medical, health, or developmental advice and is not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified professional for medical questions.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will always be available.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relay LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

19. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@basicbabytracker.com so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute will be handled under the governing law described in Section 18. These terms do not require arbitration.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
